8th International Workshop on Grapevine Downy and Powdery Mildew
Date:  July 17-19, 2017
Location:  OSU Campus, Corvallis, Oregon 

Taking place in the heart of the Oregon’s Willamette Valley, the meeting will have more than 60 talks as well as 3 posters sessions examining disease epidemiology and control and the biology and mechanisms of host-pathogen interactions. Lunch and Dinner will be provided with registration to encourage discussion among attendees. There will also be tastings of both Oregon and Washington wines during the dinners.  One day will be spent touring local vineyards and wineries showcasing the Willamette Valley’s world renown Pinot Noir wines and seeing some of the regional differences in viticulture and disease epidemics.

The meeting will be held in the LaSells Center on the campus of Oregon State University. Oregon State University is one of two Land, Sea, Space, and Sun grant Institutions having with greater than 24,000 students undergraduate and 4,000 graduate students.  Beside the research and the teaching, the campus is known for its beautiful walks and few historic, by U.S. standards, buildings.
