Daniel T. Dalton
Faculty Research Assistant
Horticultural Entomology Laboratory
Lead Researcher: Dr. Vaughn Walton

Danny has been working with research scientists and other collaborators to refine and implement monitoring tools for spotted wing drosophila (Drosophila suzukii) fruit fly pests. He is a also a collaborator and field technician for a state-wide mealybug scouting project designed to track the spread of mealybug pests and the associated grapevine leaf-roll virus complex. Danny's work as a graduate student focused on disease resistance and phenological attributes of Ribes plants (currants and gooseberries).
